Wide-neck polypropylene (PP) bottles are designed for the safe storage and handling of samples and chemicals in both liquid and solid form. The wide opening makes filling, emptying, and cleaning easy, making these bottles particularly practical for laboratory applications.
Both the bottle and screw cap are manufactured from durable polypropylene, providing a robust and long-lasting solution for everyday laboratory use. The bottles are transparent and autoclavable, making them suitable for applications where sterility is important.
The range includes four standard sizes from 60 mL to 500 mL, while additional sizes are available on request. The 250 mL bottle can also be used for centrifugation at up to 4,000 × g (RCF).
Wide-neck polycarbonate (PC) bottles are a more dimensionally stable alternative to PP bottles and are designed for the storage and handling of samples where a large surface area is advantageous. They are well suited for cultures of microorganisms, plants, algae, and other organisms.
The bottle is manufactured from robust polycarbonate (PC), while the screw cap is made from black polypropylene (PP). Both the bottle and cap can be autoclaved up to 10 times at a maximum temperature of 125 °C.
The bottles are designed to withstand centrifugation without leakage and are compatible with GS3 rotors. The stocked version has a capacity of 400 mL.
