General Sales and Delivery Conditions

Purchase of products and payment
When purchasing products on drifton.eu you have to provide the following information: company name, address, you own name and payment information. We accept payment by VISA, VISA Electron, VISA Dankort, MasterCard, JCB and American Express. The payment will be debited to your account when the goods are dispatched. If you are a business or an institution you have to fill in your VAT number. If you are a private customer 25% Danish VAT will be added during the payment transaction.
Drifton encrypts all information with an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. Therefore unauthorized persons cannot read your card number or other information during the transaction. The card information is never transferred to drifton.eu. All communication is encrypted and goes through ScanNet, which is certified by Nets as a payment gateway. Further details about security are available at www.nets.eu.
For your information, the products ordered before 12PM, we will receive it on the same day and orders received at 12PM onwards, will be shipped on the following day. Most products on drifton.eu are in stock and will be delivered within 2-7 working days in Europe. Products not in stock will be delivered within 8-14 working days. If one or more of the ordered products is on backorder from the producers, it may take longer. We will of course assemble your order so you only have to pay for dispatch one time. Delivery within 4 weeks from order date will be regarded as on time delivery.
Unless otherwise stated Drifton will ship the order by DHL standard! Use your tracking number to track your package on the DHL website (www.dhl.com). The package will be delivered to the company address you have stated as your delivery address. Since DHL couriers require a signature when delivering the goods, you or other staff will have to be present at the specified delivery address at the time of the delivery. Therefore we are unable to delivere to PO Boxes. Drifton is responsible for the insurance and care of the products up to the point of delivery. Once delivery has occurred the responsibility of the products are of the customer. We cannot be held responsible for delays by DHL.
Delivery expenses, duty and VAT
We use Incoterms 2000 DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid), and we charge a stand cargo rate of 11 EUR for European Countries, except Greenland, Faeroe Islands and Island, where the rate is 104 EUR.
There is no duty or VAT according to the rules of free movement of goods for business and institution customers, but in order to make a professional purchase you must fill in: company name, VAT number and possibliy EAN number. For all private customer Danish VAT will be included in the price.
Drifton provides a 2 years warranty under the Sale of Goods Act, covering manufacturing and material defects discovered during its normal use. The warranty does not cover defects or damages directly or indirectly caused by misuse, poor maintenance, violence or tampering. Complaints about any deficiencies that should be noticed when using the product should be notified to drifton.eu within reasonable time. The product can then be returned for repair or replacement if necessary.

Returning Goods should be sent to the address above. Please note that we do not receive packages sent by COD. Please state information about the purchase e.g. a copy of the order confirmation or a copy of correspondence.
In case of agreed rebates, returned goods or prepaid products canceled before shipment there must be a full or partial refund of the purchase price. Repayment is usually by bank transfer and drifton.eu therefore need information about registration and account number for your bank account. This information is not sensitive, and may be sent by e-mail or other traditional correspondence.
There are 14 days to return the goods, counting from the day they are received. If you choose to cancel a purchase, simply return the product in the same condition and quantity as you received them. The product must not have been taken into used. Once the goods have been returned and approved, the full purchase price will be refunded to your account within days.
