BluCAPP centrifuge tubes are designed for laboratories that require reliable sample storage and safe centrifugation in their daily operations. The tubes combine high functionality with a user-friendly design that makes handling, labeling, and sample processing easier and more efficient.
The tubes are manufactured from polypropylene and have been tested as non-cytotoxic. They are also free from RNase, DNase, endotoxins, and BPA, making them suitable for a wide range of laboratory applications where sample integrity is essential.
Clearly visible graduations enable simple and accurate volume measurement, while the large 20 × 50 mm writing area provides ample space for labeling and sample identification.
BluCAPP centrifuge tubes are equipped with leak-proof screw caps featuring a raised rim that ensures a comfortable and secure grip. This design makes the caps particularly easy to handle, even when wearing gloves.
The caps can be opened and closed with only a ¾-turn rotation, increasing workflow efficiency and allowing one-handed operation. The ergonomic design contributes to a more efficient working process and reduces strain during repetitive opening and closing procedures.
BluCAPP centrifuge tubes are designed to withstand high centrifugal forces. The 15 mL tubes are tested for centrifugation up to 17,000 RCF, while the 50 mL tubes withstand up to 20,000 RCF. The 50 mL skirted version is approved for centrifugation up to 7,000 RCF.
The tubes are autoclavable and can withstand temperatures ranging from -80°C to 121°C, making them suitable for sample storage, transportation, and laboratory processing under demanding conditions.
