(excl. VAT)75 mm cardboard boxes for cryovials provide a durable and space-saving solution for long-term storage of cryogenic samples. They help create a well-organised freezer storage system, keeping samples easy to manage without taking up unnecessary space.
The boxes are an environmentally friendly choice for cryogenic storage and offer strong value for both smaller laboratories and large research centres that handle and store high volumes of cryogenic samples. They are available in different sizes, allowing samples to be arranged systematically and kept easily accessible in the freezer.
Although using cardboard cryoboxes in a freezer may not seem like the obvious choice at first, these cryoboxes are made from high-quality materials. They are designed to withstand the demanding conditions associated with cryogenic storage. The boxes feature a protective coating that provides high moisture resistance and resistance to mild chemicals. The combination of quality materials, effective moisture protection and chemical-resistant coating gives the cardboard cryoboxes long durability and makes them suitable for longer-term storage.
The cardboard boxes feature interchangeable dividers, making them highly flexible in daily use. Different divider sizes can be purchased separately, so the box can be adapted to specific storage needs. For example, a 9 x 9 divider can be replaced with a 10 x 10 divider.
With a 9 x 9 divider, the cardboard box can store 81 samples, while a 10 x 10 divider provides space for up to 100 narrow cryovials. If larger tubes need to be stored, the divider can be removed so samples can be placed directly in the box. This flexible design makes the boxes suitable for many types of sample storage.
The boxes are designed to fit standard freezers. They are supplied in the standard size of 133 x 133 mm and are 75 mm high. They can be used without difficulty in modern, space-efficient storage racks. The surface is also easy to write on, making it simple to index samples before freezing.
75 mm cardboard boxes are available with 9 x 9 or 10 x 10 dividers, as well as without dividers. The divider height is 40 mm. Separate dividers in 8 x 8, 9 x 9 and 10 x 10 formats can be purchased separately.
We supply the most commonly used cryobox sizes, which fit the vast majority of freezer racks on the market. Other box colours and other divider sizes can be ordered by contacting DACOS.
All cardboard boxes are made from responsibly sourced, biodegradable materials. The boxes offer long durability and can be reused several times. After use, the cardboard from the cryoboxes can be safely recycled, reducing the environmental impact caused by non-recyclable storage solutions.
By choosing cardboard cryoboxes, the laboratory gets an environmentally friendly storage solution that helps reduce further pollution.
