Conical Erlenmeyer Cell Culture Flasks for Bacterial Culture
Conical Erlenmeyer cell culture flasks are designed for the cultivation and production of bacterial cultures. They are ideal for shaker culture applications, liquid handling and laboratory storage, providing reliable performance in microbiology and cell culture workflows.
The flasks are available with either a leak-proof cap or a vented cap fitted with a 0.22 µm filter. The filter enables efficient gas exchange while minimizing the risk of contamination. Ergonomically designed caps provide a secure and comfortable grip.
The conical base offers a large bottom surface and allows efficient mixing during shaking without spillage. The narrow cylindrical neck helps reduce evaporation compared with open laboratory vessels. The Erlenmeyer flask was originally developed by German chemist Richard Erlenmeyer in 1861.
Manufactured from Optically Clear PETG
The flasks are manufactured from optically clear PETG (polyethylene terephthalate glycol), a durable thermoplastic with excellent chemical resistance. Glycol modification enhances strength, impact resistance and durability while improving resistance to elevated temperatures.
Unlike glass flasks, PETG flasks will not shatter if accidentally dropped, improving laboratory safety.
Graduated volume markings allow quick and accurate liquid measurement.
All flasks are supplied sterile and certified free from pyrogen, DNase and RNase.
