NEST Centrifuge Tubes 250 mL & 500 mL

NEST 250 mL and 500 mL centrifuge tubes are designed for the safe centrifugation and handling of large-volume samples. They are ideal for the separation of large cells, supernatants, bacteria, yeast, and tissue samples, and are widely used in life science research, biological analysis, and clinical laboratories where high standards of quality and operational reliability are required.

The specially engineered cap features a unique double-sealing safety design that enhances leak protection and minimizes the risk of leakage during centrifugation. The extra-reinforced conical bottom provides excellent mechanical strength, making the tubes suitable for centrifugation at forces up to 7,000 × g. The tube is manufactured from durable polypropylene (PP), while the cap is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) to ensure optimal durability and sealing performance.

Applications

NEST 250 mL and 500 mL centrifuge tubes are suitable for a wide range of laboratory applications, including:

  • Separation of precipitates following chemical reactions for harvesting and further processing.
  • Collection of biomacromolecules as well as organic and inorganic substances.
  • Centrifugation and collection of large volumes of cells, biomacromolecules, and supernatants for biochemistry and other biological applications.
