Autoclave bags are designed for both waste handling and autoclaving, making them ideal for laboratory environments. They are particularly used for the disposal of contaminated disposable materials, where high standards of durability and safety are required.

The bags are made of 40 µm polypropylene or HDPE and are constructed with wide, reinforced seams that increase resistance to wear, tearing, and puncturing. The reinforced bottom further enhances stability during use.

The material withstands high temperatures and can be autoclaved at both 121 °C and 134 °C. To achieve complete sterilisation, the bags must remain open during autoclaving. It is also recommended not to overfill the bag, allowing it to be properly closed after the process.

Although the bags are robust, sharp objects should still be disposed of in appropriate containers to reduce the risk of injury.

The clear version is unprinted, has a thickness of 40 µm, and is supplied non-sterile. Multiple sizes are available, making it easy to adapt usage and minimize waste volume.

The matte 2.5 litre variant measures 20 × 30 cm and can be autoclaved for 20 minutes at 134 °C.
