The red high-temperature autoclavable bags are made from durable polypropylene and are suitable for both waste handling and autoclaving of contaminated disposable laboratory materials. The bags withstand autoclaving temperatures up to 136°C.
The bags are marked with the text “Hazardous Waste” together with the well-known “Biohazard” symbol in accordance with OSHA standard (29CFR1910.1030). The material is designed to resist stretching and punctures while remaining flexible and leak-resistant. Seamless bottoms provide increased strength and integrity.
The autoclave bags are available in both sizes in an opaque biohazard-red color and are supplied in packs of 100 bags. The bags fit the BenchBin waste container.
