The Labcon U-Pette™ multidispenser is designed for safe and efficient dispensing of blood drops from blood collection tubes onto test cards and test cassettes. It allows one or more drops of blood to be transferred without opening the primary sample tube, helping reduce the risk of exposure and contamination.

U-Pette fits all standard 13 mm and 16 mm glass or plastic blood collection tubes with rubber stoppers. It attaches easily to the most popular blood collection tube brands. Once inserted into the stopper, it enables simple dispensing of blood drops directly onto test strips or analyzer cassettes.

U-Pette is ideal for use with Point Of Care analyzers that require a separate cassette or test card and one or more drops of blood. It fits portable analyzers such as Abbott®, i-Stat®, Helena®, Abrazo® and many others.

Safe Point Of Care Testing

U-Pette helps improve Point Of Care testing by increasing safety for both healthcare staff and patients. It is easy to use at the patient’s bedside, and because blood can be transferred without opening the sample tube, the risk of contamination and exposure is minimized. The need for glass capillary tubes is also eliminated, removing the risk of breakage.

Simple and Intuitive to Use

With its straightforward design, U-Pette is a practical choice for loading blood samples into test cards or cassettes. Simply insert U-Pette into the blood collection tube, turn it upside down, and it is ready to dispense. No special training, fittings or additional inserters are required.
