Labcon C-Pette® Blood Dispenser for Safe and Accurate Sample Handling

The Labcon C-Pette® blood dispenser is designed for easy and safe dispensing of one or more drops of blood directly from blood collection tubes. The dispenser enables simple transfer of blood samples to test cards and analyzer cartridges without opening the primary sample tube. This eliminates the risk of exposure to and contact with potentially infectious material.

C-Pette fits all standard 13 mm and 16 mm blood collection tubes in both glass and plastic with rubber stoppers. The dispenser can be easily attached to the most commonly used blood collection tube brands. Once inserted into the stopper, blood can be dispensed directly onto test strips, test cards, or analyzer cartridges with high precision.

The dispenser is suitable for use with a wide range of Point-of-Care analyzers, including Abbott® and i-STAT®. C-Pette can be used with any analytical device that requires application of a blood sample to a test card or analyzer cartridge.

Safe Point-of-Care Testing

C-Pette contributes to safer sample handling during Point-of-Care testing. Since blood can be dispensed without opening the sample tube, the risk of contamination and exposure is reduced for both healthcare professionals and patients.

At the same time, the need for glass capillary tubes is eliminated, removing the risk of breakage and injury during sample handling close to the patient.

Simple and Intuitive Use

The simple and intuitive design makes C-Pette a practical solution for transferring blood samples to test cards and analyzer cartridges.

Instructions for use:

1. Insert the C-Pette into the blood collection tube’s rubber stopper.
2. Gently invert the tube.
3. Dispense the desired amount of blood directly onto the test card or analyzer cartridge.

No special training, fittings, or additional equipment are required. The solution is fast, simple, and safe to use in daily routine testing.
