Shipping Tubes for Diagnostic Samples – Safe and Approved Transport

Shipping tubes for diagnostic samples are durable transport tubes designed for the safe shipment of diagnostic specimens as secondary packaging. They comply with the P650 requirements and are ADR approved when used with the insert. P650 packaging, formerly referred to as a 1B container, is approved for transporting specific infectious substances.

The tubes are pressure tested, leak-proof, and certified to withstand 95 kPa, providing reliable protection during transport.

Available with or without an absorbent insert, the absorbent sleeve surrounds the transport tube for additional protection and can be replaced easily, allowing the tubes to be reused.

The shipping tubes are available in 40 ml, 60 ml, and 120 ml sizes. Each size comes in three versions: a universal tube, a tube with an absorbent insert, and a tube with both an absorbent insert and a printed "Biohazard" label.

Manufactured from polypropylene (PP), the tubes can be autoclaved at 121°C. Please note that lids are supplied separately.
