0.2 ml PCR Plates
The 0.2 ml PCR plates are available with 24 or 96 wells and come in non-skirted, semi-skirted and full-skirted versions to suit a wide range of PCR workflows.
All plates are autoclavable, while the highly transparent models are especially suitable for qPCR applications where the optical signal is detected through the bottom of the plate.
The V-shaped well bottoms allow maximum sample recovery. Thin-walled polypropylene wells ensure efficient heat transfer from the thermal cycler block to the sample, promoting uniform temperature distribution while minimizing condensation. The ultra-smooth inner surface reduces protein binding and helps preserve valuable samples.
Designed for compatibility with most standard thermal cyclers, the 0.2 ml plates feature a standard profile, making them ideal for both conventional PCR and qPCR applications.
Non-skirted versions can easily be cut into 16, 24, 32 or 48 well sections, providing greater flexibility in the laboratory.
All PCR plates are certified free from DNA, DNase, RNase, RNA and pyrogens, making them suitable for sensitive molecular biology applications.
