The lightweight Büchner filter funnel is made from polypropylene (PP) and features filter holes for use with filter paper.
The filter paper should be placed flat over the filter holes. For a proper fit, the diameter of the filter paper should therefore be slightly smaller than the diameter of the funnel.
The Büchner funnel is easy to clean and can be autoclaved for reuse. It withstands temperatures up to 120 °C.
