Disposable Wooden Tongue Depressors

Our disposable tongue depressors are made from untreated birch wood and are designed for oral and throat examinations in clinical environments. Also known as wooden spatulas, they are used to gently hold the tongue down, providing a clear view during examination. The tongue depressors are non-sterile and intended for single use.

The smooth finish and rounded edges ensure comfortable handling, while the durable birch wood provides reliable strength during examinations. They are a practical choice for clinics, hospitals and other healthcare facilities looking for an environmentally friendly disposable product.

After use, the tongue depressor can be disposed of in a lidded waste container, such as a BenchBin, or in a waste stand. Nitrile gloves may be used during handling.
