The SureStrain™ Cell Strainer provides a fast and convenient solution for separating, isolating, and filtering cells from tissue samples and cell aggregates. It features a durable polypropylene frame fitted with a 70 μm nylon mesh to ensure consistent filtration performance.
An integrated molded handle allows sterile, aseptic handling while minimizing the risk of contamination. The filter can be removed easily from its individual blister pack without touching the mesh.
The advanced frame design improves sample flow by reducing the air-lock effect. Enhanced ventilation allows trapped air to escape as the sample passes into the centrifuge tube, resulting in faster filtration and reducing the risk of sample loss.
The frame also includes four small support feet, allowing direct filtration into Petri dishes and 6-well cell culture plates. Each filter is individually packaged in a sterile blister pack.
An optional adapter enables compatibility with both 5 ml and 15 ml tubes, while the filter is designed for use with standard 50 ml centrifuge tubes.
