Cryoboxes 9×9 black – Optimal protection of light-sensitive samples
Cryoboxes 9×9 in black are specifically developed for the safe storage of light-sensitive samples, where protection from light is essential. The black polypropylene construction creates a completely opaque barrier that effectively prevents light from affecting the contents of the cryovials.
This feature makes the boxes particularly suitable for samples where even minimal light exposure may cause unwanted chemical reactions. Unlike other colored boxes, which may be partially transparent, the black cryoboxes are fully light-proof and provide maximum protection – even for the most sensitive samples.
The cryoboxes are designed in a classic 9×9 grid, providing space for up to 81 cryovials. With external dimensions of 130×130 mm, they fit most standard racks, making them easy to integrate into existing laboratory setups.
Manufactured from durable, high-quality polypropylene (PP), the boxes are built to withstand demanding conditions in both chest freezers and upright freezers. They tolerate temperatures down to -90°C and up to +121°C, and are autoclavable, ensuring high flexibility and hygiene in the laboratory.
