AHN EL³ Single Channel Pipette – Variable Volume
The AHN myPette® EL³ Single Channel is a manual variable-volume pipette designed with a focus on low operating forces, precise pipetting and comfortable handling. The series is available in seven volume ranges from 0.1 µL to 1000 µL.
At the heart of the EL³ system is the interaction between the pipette and its cylindrical tip-and-shaft mechanism. The design is developed to reduce the force required throughout the pipetting process – during pipetting itself, when loading the pipette tip and when ejecting it.
Cylindrical EL³ design with positive stop
EL³ features a cylindrical tip-and-shaft mechanism with a defined positive stop. This allows the tip to be loaded with low force while providing a reliable and consistent seal between the pipette and the tip.
The system is designed for use with myTip® EL³ pipette tips, which are developed for the cylindrical connection and positive-stop mechanism. Both tip loading and tip ejection require low force.
Low plunger force and precise pipetting
Balanced weight distribution combined with an innovative spring and seal design reduces the plunger force required during pipetting and provides comfortable operation.
The magnet-assisted piston mechanism contributes to consistently precise pipetting results.
Clear volume setting
The large 4-digit display makes the selected volume easy to read and allows precise volume setting. The integrated volume lock prevents accidental changes to the selected volume during pipetting.
Colour coding also makes it easy to identify the required pipette.
Durable design for laboratory use
The AHN myPette® EL³ is made from durable materials that provide protection against chemical corrosion and physical stresses. The pipette is UV resistant and fully autoclavable at 121 °C for 15 minutes.
Each pipette is calibrated according to ISO 8655-6 and comes with a 3-year warranty.
