Vacuum Filtration System
A vacuum filtration system designed for laboratories requiring efficient processing of large numbers of samples for microbiological quality control. The system is particularly suitable for filtering cell culture media and biological fluids, where larger sample volumes must be separated and purified quickly and safely. Low protein binding combined with high flow rates ensures efficient filtration, while excellent chemical compatibility makes the system suitable for a wide range of laboratory applications.
The system consists of a filter membrane, a clear polystyrene funnel with easy-to-read graduations, and a receiver bottle connected via an adapter. A vacuum pump creates the required pressure differential, enabling rapid filtration of large volumes of cell culture media and other laboratory solutions. Sample volumes of several liters can be processed, and the filtered liquids can be stored directly in the sterile collection bottles, providing a simple and efficient workflow.
The vacuum filtration system is available with bottle capacities of 150 mL, 250 mL, 500 mL, and 1,000 mL, and membrane pore sizes of 0.10 µm, 0.22 µm, and 0.45 µm, allowing the system to be tailored to different filtration requirements.
