Sterile Sputum Collection Kit for Safe Collection of Sputum Samples
The sputum collection kit is designed for collecting sputum samples for the examination and diagnosis of respiratory diseases. The sputum container can also be used for the collection and storage of biopsy and tissue samples.
Properly collected sputum samples are essential for the accurate identification and diagnosis of respiratory diseases. At the same time, it is important to protect healthcare professionals from unnecessary contact with potentially infectious specimens. Therefore, the sputum collection kit has been developed with a focus on both safe specimen handling and protection against accidental exposure.
The kit contains a sterile 24 ml sputum container with a screw cap (PS/HDPE) and a cellulose swab. These components are placed inside a transport container with a snap-on lid, enabling safe, hygienic, and convenient collection, storage, and transportation of samples.
The sputum collection kit is also available without the cellulose swab and instructions for use (DAC-AL-450002).
