Well-designed construction and reliable sealing
Each tube is equipped with a flat snap cap featuring an ergonomic design, enabling quick one-handed operation. The tight seal minimizes evaporation and supports safe handling and storage of samples.
Application
The microtubes are suitable for a range of laboratory tasks, including:
- Preparation and mixing of samples
- Separation by centrifugation of biological and chemical materials
- Storage and transport of samples
- Handling of light-sensitive samples, where the amber-colored plastic provides light protection
- The 5.0 ml format can be used in standard rotors designed for 15 ml tubes, allowing smaller volumes to be processed within the same rotor setup.
