Handling hot beakers in the laboratory
These stainless steel beaker tongs are designed for holding and handling hot beakers in the laboratory. The tongs can accommodate beakers with a capacity of up to 2 litres (155 mm OD).
The beaker tongs are available with either a silicone or fibreglass coating, allowing them to withstand direct flame. The silicone-coated version can handle temperatures up to 280°C, while the fibreglass coating can handle temperatures up to 500°C.
