Description

DuoClick culture tubes in 5 ml and 14 ml are designed for microbiological cultivation as well as routine laboratory procedures where both functionality and ease of use are essential. The tubes are suitable for a wide range of cell and bacterial cultures and support daily laboratory workflows.

The tubes are manufactured from transparent polystyrene with high optical clarity, providing clear visibility of the contents. The round bottom design ensures consistent handling and reliable centrifugation performance.

A key feature of the DuoClick series is the patented screw cap with an integrated click mechanism. The cap is engineered with two defined positions, allowing quick switching between aerobic and anaerobic incubation:

A single click (¼ turn) places the cap in a vented position for aerobic processes.
Further rotation past the second click ensures a fully sealed closure suitable for anaerobic cultivation.

The mechanical click system provides clear tactile feedback, enabling the user to easily confirm the cap position. This reduces the risk of incorrect closure while minimizing the excessive force, splashing, and frustration often associated with traditional snap caps.

The tubes are supplied pre-assembled with caps and are gamma sterilized. They can withstand centrifugation up to 1,400 × G and are designed for stable performance within a temperature range of 0 °C to 70 °C.

DuoClick culture tubes are available in both standard polystyrene and polypropylene, depending on application requirements.
