The tubes are available either with individually attached caps or without caps, in which case they can be used with an 8-cap strip that fits the tubes perfectly.

If you choose tubes with individual caps, you get a solution that is easy to handle and quick to seal. The tight closure significantly reduces evaporation, ensuring that your samples remain stable throughout the entire PCR process. Evaporation rates are kept below 5% for Expell and as low as 3% for ExpellPlus.

In addition, the tubes are designed to minimize the risk of cross-contamination between samples, which is essential for precision work.

Easy Labeling and Improved Workflow

The caps are flat and lightly frosted, making it easy to write directly on them. This allows for quick sample identification, reduces the risk of errors, and improves efficiency in busy laboratory environments.

Optimal Sample Recovery

The V-shaped bottom ensures maximum recovery, even from very small sample volumes. The tubes are made from thin-walled polypropylene, providing efficient and uniform heat transfer in the thermocycler. This helps reduce condensation and improves the consistency of your results.
