The 3-component syringes with rubber plunger are ideal for laboratory use, as they provide very precise dosing of even small quantities. They are sterile and individually packaged. The syringes are used for drawing up and injecting liquids. All syringes are made of transparent polypropylene and have clear graduations printed on them for easy reading.
Please note that there may be more ml in the syringe than indicated, as there must be room to pull the plunger all the way back. Therefore, all syringes have extended graduations, which means that the graduations extend beyond the normal size of the syringe. It means that a 10 ml syringe has extended graduations up to 12 ml.
The syringes have an effective backstop that prevents the plunger from slipping out. Three-component syringes are available as concentric and eccentric, which describes the position of the syringe tip, whether it is located in the centre or on the side of the syringe base. The syringe has an ergonomic finger plate, making it easy to use and hold.
The 24 ml syringe with Luer lock provides extra flexibility as needed.
The syringes are available with or without Luer lock. The Luer system ensures tightness during fluid transfer, and Luer standards comply with ISO 80369 test methods and are defined in ISO 594. Luer tips work on the basis of friction, while Luer locks have an additional screw thread closure system. On syringes with Luer locks, the tip is centred on the syringe, while the tip on syringes with Luer can be centrally located or at the edge of the syringe.
All syringes are sterile and individually packaged in paper-film packs that are very easy to open.
These disposable syringes are a reliable choice for both clinical and industrial laboratories. They are often used in conjunction with syringe filters.
