The AHN myLab® Hot Plate Stirrer is available in three models with capacities for 5, 10, or 15 flasks.
Each model offers a variable speed range from 300 to 1,500 rpm, adjustable in 10 rpm increments, allowing precise control to match the requirements of different sample types. The efficient heating plate warms liquids from ambient temperature up to 120 °C, and a LED warning indicator lights up when the surface temperature exceeds 50 °C for added safety.
The AHN myLab® features a large digital display that clearly shows time, temperature, and speed. Operation is simple and intuitive via a touchpad control panel, providing easy access to all settings. The timer can be set from 1 to 999 minutes or run in continuous mode for longer processes.
A pulse function can be programmed at intervals between 30 and 99 seconds to enhance mixing performance, while the integrated microprocessor maintains the selected speed consistently – even when the liquid’s volume or viscosity changes. A memory function stores the last used settings, allowing quick repetition of previous protocols.
The stainless steel top plate is coated with a non-slip silicone resin pad that is both corrosion-resistant and easy to clean. The compact, sealed design protects internal components from liquid spills and dust, making the unit virtually maintenance-free.
The brushless DC motor provides long service life, stable performance, and quiet operation. A waterproof heating element with an automatic safety shut-off prevents overheating, while non-slip rubber feet ensure excellent stability even at maximum speed. The stirrer can be used in both incubators and cooling environments, making it suitable for temperature-sensitive samples.
The unit is IP42-rated, offering protection against dust and water splashes for added durability.
