The CAPPRondo Hotplate Stirrer is equipped with a nano-crystalline glass ceramic top plate, ensuring efficient and uniform heating of liquids up to 20 liters. The material is highly resistant to chemicals, liquid splashes, and sudden temperature changes, extending the instrument’s lifespan and maintaining stable performance over time.
The powerful brushless Servo DC motor delivers smooth and precise stirring – even with highly viscous liquids. The speed can be easily adjusted from 200 to 2,200 rpm in 10 rpm intervals, allowing full control over the mixing process. The heating function covers a wide temperature range from 5 °C to 550 °C, and with an accuracy of ±1 °C, you can achieve outstanding precision. Six programmable heating modes (H00–H05) make it possible to tailor the heating profile to various liquid types and experimental setups.
An intuitive microprocessor-controlled interface with a large digital display, touch buttons, and a rotary dial makes operation simple and user-friendly. From the control panel, users can program up to 99 individual protocols and activate a pulse function (30–99 seconds) for advanced mixing sequences. A timer allows operation from 1 to 999 minutes or continuous running. For added safety, the stirrer is equipped with both a temperature probe (with stand) and an overtemperature protection system that automatically shuts off at 575 °C.
The chemical-resistant composite fiber housing is IP21-rated and built to withstand demanding laboratory environments. Its low thermal conductivity protects internal components from unnecessary heat exposure, ensuring long-lasting durability. Additionally, the compact and ergonomic design minimizes space usage on the workbench.
For optimal performance, it is recommended to use CAPP’s 25 mm Teflon-coated stir bar, which ensures maximum stability and efficient power transfer during operation.
