This magnetic stirrer has a capacity of up to 10 liters and features a ceramic-coated stainless steel plate that ensures fast and even heat distribution, while the surface remains durable and easy to clean.
The unit is powered by a high-performance motor that guarantees stable stirring, even under varying load conditions. The speed can be continuously adjusted from 200 to 2,200 revolutions per minute (rpm) in precise 10 rpm intervals, providing full control over the stirring process. The microprocessor-controlled regulation ensures that both temperature and speed remain stable throughout operation.
The stirrer can heat samples from room temperature up to 320 °C, and when the plate temperature reaches 50 °C, an LED indicator lights up to clearly inform the user that the plate is hot.
A key feature of the CAPPRondo is its programmable functionality. Users can set both speed and time, with a time range from 1 to 999 minutes. Alternatively, the stirrer can run continuously without a time limit. A memory function stores the most recent settings, allowing previous programs to be easily resumed, while a special Pulse Mode enhances mixing efficiency by alternating the rotation speed in intervals.
For maximum user convenience, the CAPPRondo is equipped with a large digital display that clearly shows all key parameters — speed, time, actual and target temperature. The unit comes with a P1000 temperature probe with stand, providing accurate measurements directly in the sample. When the probe is connected, its temperature reading appears on the display, and upon disconnection, the display automatically switches back to the plate temperature.
With its compact design and a weight of only 1.4 kg, the CAPPRondo is both space-saving and easy to move around the laboratory bench. The combination of robust construction, intuitive operation, and advanced features makes it an ideal choice for both research and educational environments.
For optimal performance, it is recommended to use CAPP’s original PTFE-coated magnetic stir bars (25 mm), which ensure efficient and consistent mixing.
