Labcon ZAP Aerosol pipette tips are equipped with a filter that ensures maximum protection against cross-contamination. The filters are made of high–molecular weight polyethylene and act as an effective barrier with pores of just 10 µm – small enough to block even radionucleotides.
The result is a tip that exceeds the standard of traditional filter tips and guarantees safe liquid handling across all laboratory applications.
Each tip is manufactured exclusively from 100% virgin medical-grade polypropylene – with absolutely no recycled plastic. The raw material is tested to ensure no extractables, and every batch is certified free from RNase, DNase, ATP, and endotoxins. In addition, all tips are tested for trace metals, and certificates are available for every lot number.
The refillable racks are made of robust polypropylene, withstand repeated autoclaving, and are built to last. They come in Labcon’s signature teal or purple colors, with durable hinges and a snap-lock system designed to protect both tips and gloves.
