Microtube with Screw Cap 5.0 ml

These 5.0 ml microtubes with screw caps are manufactured from durable polypropylene and designed for versatile laboratory use. They are suitable for handling both solid and liquid samples as well as reagents and can be used for sample preparation, mixing, centrifugation, transport, and long-term storage.

The tubes are ideal for educational purposes, routine analyses, and research projects in life sciences, chemistry, and industrial laboratories. The design features a conical bottom similar to traditional 15 ml centrifuge tubes. The compact 5 ml format allows for more efficient space utilization when working with smaller liquid volumes.

The material withstands temperatures from -86 °C to 110 °C, making the tubes suitable for heating applications, including boiling, as well as ultra-low temperature storage.
