Microplate Centrifuge PlateFuge

PlateFuge™ Microplate Centrifuge – a small and compact centrifuge designed for efficient centrifugation of microplates. By spinning your PCR plates before the PCR process, all reagents are collected at the bottom of the wells, ensuring correct concentrations, minimizing waste, and providing more reliable laboratory results.

Although the PlateFuge measures only 23 x 26 cm, it features a patented swing-out rotor capable of centrifuging two microplates simultaneously. The rotor includes two plate holders positioned at a 75° angle, allowing easy plate insertion without the need for sealing tape or caps.
When the lid is closed, the rotor automatically accelerates, and the centrifugal force swings the plates into a vertical position, effectively collecting any droplets at the bottom of the wells.

With a centrifugal force of 600 x G, most samples can be fully centrifuged in less than 20 seconds. Once centrifugation is complete, simply open the lid, and the electric brake stops the rotor quickly and smoothly in just four seconds.
The plates can then be easily removed, ready for the next step in your workflow.
