The SafeVac Vacuum Aspiration System uses vacuum power to aseptically dispose of supernatant fluids from laboratory vessels. It works well with biological immunology reagents, tissue and cell culture media, or any liquid chemical waste.
A hydrophobic filter protects the vacuum supply from aerosols. It has a portable size for ease of use, and it creates a stable vacuum for reliable results.
Features
- The vacuum power can be set to different levels to achieve 1 ml/sec. to 15 ml/sec. aspiration speed.
- The integrated pump switches off automatically when a vacuum is established in the bottle and switches on again when the vacuum is used - this way unnecessary noise is avoided and the life of the pump is increased.
- A has sensitive liquid level sensor that prevents liquid overflow during operation.
- The lid, tubing and handle are easy to disassemble, clean and autoclave.
- The waste bottle, tubing and handle are fully autoclavable.
- It comes with 8 different adapters to fit e.g. tubes, microplates and petri dishes.
- The interchangeable hand operator and tip adapters makes it suitable for various tasks from single channel to 8-channel based on the applications in tubes, micro plates, petri dishes etc.
- The CPC Quick couplings speeds up the removal of the hoses on the bottle.
- SafeVac is completely independent from external vacuum sources.
